Botox and Fillers
The benefits of Botox have made them a popular cosmetic treatment. It works by using a protein to relax specific muscles, giving your face a younger, revitalized appearance. Fillers are made up of a compound called hyaluronate, which is a naturally occurring substance found in skin and cartilage. It is extremely effective at smoothing out static wrinkles and lines, leading to a naturally younger look.
Botox is also useful for those with hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating. This is a syndrome that is usually treated with prescription anti-perspirants, the long-term effects of which aren't known and, for those whose hyperhidrosis is especially severe, is only mildly effective. Botox, however, balances the problem and relieves the condition for several months at a time.
